Hi ladies,
I've been to Calafia Cafe once, had a great experience, and have been dying to go back!
Let's all dish there together!
When: Wednesday, May 18th, 8 p.m.
Where: Calafia Cafe: Town & Country Village (855 El Camino Real at embarcadero Road)
Who: The more, the merrier! Please leave a comment on the blog to let us know you're coming!
You can look at their reviews on Yelp, and their menu has two sides: vegetarian and one for meat eaters. Both have great, delicious options!
Please let me know if there is a huge conflict with this night that I didn't know about (besides the fact that American Idol is on--but you can all come over to my house and watch after we chow down!).
Looking forward to it!
taylor
P.S. The owner and chef, Charlie Ayers, was the former head chef at the Google Cafe, so it has to be good, right?? ;)
I'm coming! Are you?
ReplyDeletei have also been there and am excited to be invited to "dish" :)
ReplyDeleteI'll try to come but will be a little late. Wednesday is Scout night and will have to wait for hubby to get home.
ReplyDeleteI will so be there! I just checked out the menu and I can't wait! Thanks for organizing this!
ReplyDeleteSo excited! Will plan on coming! Thanks for organizing this, Taylor!!
ReplyDeleteYay - it's on a Wednesday so I can come :) I've been wanting to try Calafia since I found Charlie Ayers amazing cookbook. I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteI'll be there too!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I can make it and can't wait to try this new place-- thanks Taylor!
ReplyDeleteSounds fantastic!! I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteI can't make it on Wednesday, but in the spirit of togetherness, I went on Thursday. We had the open-faced salmon sandwich and Wolfgang's duck confit pizza. The pizza was really good (I do love goat cheese), but the salmon combo didn't work for me. It was too sweet (saying a lot for me) and the "bread" was more like really hard toast so it was kind of hard to eat. Five stars for service though. Love the hostess. She made me feel like my seat near the bathroom and right in front of the kitchen was the best in the house. Have fun!!
